Potential New Drug In The Fight Against Hair Loss & Baldness

Osteoporosis medication, originally designed for the bone-thinning disease is now being considered as a possible breakthrough treatment for baldness. A recent study shows potential for the drug to help stimulate the growth of human hair follicles.

Today, in terms of medications, patients are limited to the choice of only two FDA approved options - Minoxidil and Finasteride for the treatment of hair loss or androgenetic alopecia.
